Digital Scanner at Oakthorpe

We are excited to announce the arrival of our new digital scanner. This remarkable piece of equipment allows us to take scanned images which are knitted together to provide a 3D image of teeth and gums to share with our technicians via email. This will potentially allow us to forgo the need to take impressions (of course this is case selective).

Since opening again on the 9th June we have worked as a small team to treat the emergencies accumulated during the lockdown , and also placing into action a set of operational procedures so we can provide a safe environment. These procedures have been continually revised and refined to allow us to now introduce routine treatments and the long-awaited hygienist service.

I did my new patient check up with Kate and dental hygiene with Emma at your practice last week. Both were fantastic - thank you very much for the excellent service. I especially wanted to highlight the efforts you made to secure a hygiene appointment in a very short period of time for me and how Emma was able to remove the stains on my teeth with Invisalign attachments and metal braces on them.
