Batteries should be discharged before recharging but we often find that as the battery runs down electric toothbrushes get slower and slower.
At this speed, it is simply not being efficient and therefore we ask our patients to regularly charge up the toothbrush.
Battery operated toothbrushes are not recommended as we find they are not cost-effective at all and a manual toothbrush with a good technique would be better.
Regarding my last appointment, I couldn’t have asked for better service. My dentist is Seetal and she has dealt with me in such a professional & kind manner. She was very supportive throughout my whole treatment, considering I was very nervous and the job was very successful. Also, restrictions due to Covid were applied well and I felt very safe.
